The issues are : No, 115 Feb-Mar 1907 to No. 120 Dec 1907-Jan 1908. Each issue comprises 56 pp of editorial material and illustrations followed by a somewhat greater number of advertisement pages (typically largely illustrations, including a number in colour). The journal advertised itself as "The Educator of the Craft. Always up-to-date: Contains Portraits and Biographies of Eminent Printers - Specimen Jobs in Colour and Monochrome - Fine Art Picture Supplements - Instructive Technical Papers - Valuable Hints and Trade Information - Reports of the Technical Classes and of the progress of Technical Education for Printers" - a journal for the printing trades". The original decorative, color-illus. title page (with tissue guard), color frontis, and all contents, bound into 3/4 maroon leather with maroon cloth/boards; gilt lettering and 7 (unraised) gilt double bands on spine. Pages numbered consecutively throughout, 336 in total, followed by a section (with original cover and dated for Dec. 1907 - January 1908) of 80 pp. of advertisements. Full of bw, color, and duotone illustrations. A bit overweight at 6 pounds and may require extra postage. The entire volume for 1907. No individual covers, but title pages are bound in. Includes an index for the entire volume. Raithby & Lawrence: Leicester printing firm (later, London: Raithby, Lawrence & Co., Ltd.), noted for its printing of the widely disseminated and influential periodical, The British Printer. Through the efforts and exacting standards of its foreman and chief typographic designer (a new profession for the time) George W.
