A late nineteenth-century guide to training retrievers, pointers, setters, spaniels, and terriers, either for field sports or as companions. This work was written by an author under the name of "Pathfinder", which is believed to be H. C. Dear. Undated, dated through copies held at the British Library.Three pages of advertisements to the front and seven pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart, with fading to the spine and rear board. Very light shelf wear to the extremities. Gilt remains bright. Internally, firmly bound.
