Hardcover. Condition: Very Good Plus. No Jacket. First Edition. The complete 2 volume set in very fresh looking, bright and tight condition. 8vo. sized. 1961. First edition. 1360pp. Both volumes bound in original publisher's light blue cloth - gilt embossed to the spines. The text supported by numerous formulae, graphs and photographic reproductions. A former owner's ink name to the head of the front endpaper of each volume to include a date to the head of volume 2. Light splitting to the front hinge of volume I with a slight amount of meshing exposed. A lovely, fresh, clean, tight and bright very good plus 2 volume set of this scarce work.
