Hardcover. Condition: Good. London: S.O. Beeton [1869]. 2 volumes. No publication date given, but the chronology covers events up to late 1869. Vol.I: viii+704p. 15 maps and tables. Vol.II: pp.705-1412. 5 maps and tables, 1 coloured. Small tears to a few maps. Many illustrations in the text. Internally very good and free from foxing, paper toned. Hinges starting to split at endpapers. Bound in half leather over marbled boards, rubbed and worn. Spine of vol. II splitting from upper board (1-inch split at head) and lower board (3-inch split at foot).
