Modern (circa 2015) facsimile reprint of the 1925 thirteen edition of this classic work on the honey bee and bee-keeping. 182pp, with black and white illustrations in text. Plain brown laminated stiff card covers with black titles. 8vo. Covers are shelf worn, gentle rubbed at edges and spine ends, with a few minor indentations. Text block edges softened. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.

The boards are flat and fairly firm, grubby around the edges; slightly shelf-cocked. Fairly clean end papers; cut edges slightly tanned. The text block is illustrated with four plates and many text illustrations. The pages are taut and even; a few pages are marked. No dedications etc. Without jacket. Good plus condition.
