Published in Beccles, Suffolk, this is the authors own set of proof sheets for the book, printed on one side of the page only, which have been bound up into cloth, in a signed note at the rear it states that there was a further page printed in the final printing of the book a rare book of poems all themed on insects and entomology, most set locally in Suffolk, by Ernest Arthur Elliott and Claude Morley who were renowned specialists on hymenoptera. apparently there were only 100 copies of the book finally published, and of those 50 were later destroyed by Morley, who was probably not happy with the publication in retrospect the proof sheets bound here, it seems were pinned or stapled together in the top corner originally before being bound up, this has resulted in rusted holes were the pins were originally located, with one of the authors names inscribed at front, and initialled to the note at rear, the covers are lightly marked, internally title page marked, which is to be expected as this would have not been protected with covers with the proof pages in their original loose state, the mentioned rust holes, some straining to the gatherings else in good general condition THE AUTHORS OWN SET OF PROOF SHEETS, PRINTED ON ONE SIDE OF THE PAGE ONLY AND LATER BOUND INTO A CLOTH BINDING.
