Hardcover. Condition: Poor. A clean front board and sound and clean contents unable to offset the very poor condition of its mildewed and badly worn rear panel, our copy of this massive book can not be rated as better than poor. Collation in OCLC is simplified to, e.g., "xxvi, 582 pages." The actual collation is a bewildering and seemingly random mix of pages numbered with Roman and Arabic numerals, with some page numbers repeated in an alphabetic sequence. Pages are, however, bound in ascending order. We find the following: xxvii, [xxviii], [23], 24, [3 p.], 32, [10 p.], xxxi-xxxii, 33-40, 40a-40d, 41-76, 76a-76[h], 77-136, 136[a]-136h, 137-561, 561a-561b, 562-582. Front board good, spine and rear panel worn and stained, pages 441-444 loose but present, mildew stains to gutter of final several leaves, final blank loose, mildew stains to rear endpapers. Additional postage (almost certainly prohibitive) will be required for shipment oitside the United States.
