Original green cloth with gilt engraving to front cover, restored spine. All edges gilt. Full colour frontis + 6 colour plates, 3 black and white plates + further illustrations in text. Bookplate of Hugh Cecil, Earl of Lonsdale, foxing to prelims and frontis, light foxing throughout, including some plates.
