Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. Dr. J.C. Mottram (illustrator). 1st Edition. First impression, as stated on the copyright page. Fresh looking copy in hardly read bright condition and with no inscriptions. A little toned to the prelims and moderately foxed at the page block edge. Bright clean cloth boards with crisp title lettering on the spine. A tad rubbed at the extremities, only really noticeable on closer inspection. The dust jacket is clean and not price clipped, although it is very quite edge worn with some loss at the spine ends giving a somewhat raggy apppearance; also toned to the spine at top edge. In all though a nice presentable copy.

Condition: Good. Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A copy that has been read but remains in clean condition. All of the pages are intact and the cover is intact and the spine may show signs of wear. The book may have minor markings which are not specifically mentioned. First Edition, 1936. A few small tears to the dust jacket. Foxing to the page edges, and a previous owner's name on the flyleaf. Contents clear and firm within. A good condition book.

Near fine hardback in near fine dust jacket (5s. net). Book has moderate, if not minor foxing to top edge of block and a minor flaw/start to lower 1/2 inch of front gutter. Dust jacket has a slight, if not very slight darkening to spine; two closed tears of 1/4 inch each to bottom edge of front panel;l and a 1 inch closed tear to bottom edge of rear panel. Only trivial additional signs of age/wear/previous use to book and dust jacket.
