Condition: Very Good. _____Single sheet, 20.25 x 38.25", folded to 33 panels, each 6.75 x 3.5"._____ The long horizontal folds have neat, archival reinforcements on the text side._____ ._____Dated by code to July 1, 1876._____ . _____ The exterior is comprised of 12 panels of 24 vignettes of scenery along the route._____ Four panels are a station-by-station timetable of the route between Omaha and Ogden on the Union Pacific, two more continue the information from Ogden to San Francisco. _____ . _____ A couple of the panels emphasize easy access to the gold fields of Sydney, Australia and the Black Hills of Dakota._____ This last journey would be made considerably more stressful by the Custer massacre which had occurred just five days before the date of issue for this schedule._____ . _____ There are in addition a pair of one panel maps."Map of / Rail & Stage Route / Big Tree Groves / and / Yosemite" and "New Mining Map of Utah." . _____ The entire interior is a full color "New Map / of the / American / Overland Route / Showing Its / Connections, and Land Grants / of / 30,000,000 Acres."
