Condition: Good. Autograph note by poet Ammons to Sean Cooney of Western Michigan University, turning down an offer of a poetry reading. In original envelope addressed to Cooney in Ammons' own hand.Archie Randolph Ammons (1926-2001) was a popular and widely published poet. Among many other honors, he won the National Book Award for Poetry in 1973 and 1993.
