The boards are lightly worn, with bumping and scuffing to the bottom edges and fraying to the back bottom corner with a little cloth scuffed away. There is a small surface split in the joint near the mildly softened spine head. The spine is slightly faded. The spine leather label has a very small split. Inscription on front end paper. The back hinge is cracked between the index and end papers, with netting showing, but the binding is firm, the leaves secure and undamaged. The pages and plates are clean. The plate pages were a bit sticky through lack of use, resulting in slight lifting between two of the plates (192 plates in total). There are a few small, unobtrusive updates/corrections penned in by a previous owner.
