This print originates from 'Het Kamerlid van Berkestein in Nederlandsch-Indie.', (translation: van Berkestein, member of the Dutch Parliament in the Dutch East-Indies.) by M.T.H. Perelaer, published in Leiden, circa 1888. Artists and Engravers: M.T.H. (Michel Theophile Hubert) Perelaer (Maastricht 1831 - Den Haag 1901), also called majoor (major) Perelaer, was a Dutch writer, who was in Indonesia for years. The lithographs are after drawings by Jhr. J.C. Rappard. Technic: Original chromolithographs on a vellin type paper.
