Wraps. Condition: Very Good. 8vo. 18 by 11 cm. 16 pp., plus wraps. Nine illustrations, seven of which are colored. We are told antiphlogistine will deplete inflamed areas, maintain moist heat, stimulate reflexes and bleed yet saves the blood! Conditions it allegedly can treat include cancers, rheumatism and gout, synovitis, sprains, pleurisy, consumption, erysipelas, felons, croup, throat affections, chronic ulcers, burns, septic wounds, inflammation of the bowels, frost-bites, necroses, boils, etc. With each of these listed conditions short instructions are given on how to apply. The product was made we are told from pure glycerin, boric acid, salicylic acide, iron carbonate, peppermint, gaultheria, eucalyptus and iodine. The Denver Chemical Mfg. Co. at the time had agents in the U.S., Britain, Australia, Tasmania, Mexico, New Zealand, India, cuba and Hawaii. Uncommon -- only known copy of this issue at the Strong. Light wear.
