Some edge-wear and a little tattering, with a tear to the top of the front cover close to the spine. Red cloth binding with blue labels, gilt lettering and gilt pictorial detail to front board and spine, slight marking but quite clean and firm. Small signs of shelf-wear and a dent to the head of the spine. Some marking and scuffing to page edges, with a little foxing. Front free endpaper is dog-eared. Page surfaces generally clean, the odd mark but no inscriptions, marginalia, underlining, etc. See pictures for more information. xvi + 303 pp. n.
