Hardcover. Condition: Good+. Illustrated by No Illustrations (illustrator). reprint - limited edition. Blue cloth covers with gold lettering on front board and spine. No dust jacket, as issued. Covers are slightly scuffed and the top and fore-page edges are a bit soiled. The previous owner's name is written in ink on the top of the front paste down. The marbled end pages and paste-downs are also a bit soiled. The contents are tight and clean. All-in-all, a nice copy of a scarce title. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 256 pages; This reprint is undated, but the Open Library websit identifies the year of publication as 1996. The copyright page has a statement that this title has been limited to 80 copies. This story was originally published in serial form in 1937 and 1938, but we unable to determine which periodical published the story. Taber was a prolific writer and wrote regular magazine columns and also contributed short stories and other articles to several magazines. Scarce.
