Written by Isabella Mary Beeton, known as Mrs Beeton, an English journalist, editor and writer particularly associated with her first book, the 1861 work "Mrs Beeton's Book of Household Management". With publisher's advertisements to the front and rear. Dated from the British Library. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. The odd small mark to the cloth. Hinges starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting and the odd small handling mark. Age toning to the endpapers.
