First Edition
Condition: Used: Very Good. (Unknown Edition) NP: np, nd. Hardcover, bound in 1/4 leather and pebbled boards. Gilt title on front cover. This is an early (first?) edition of this early work on library science. Possibly a unique copy, the work consists solely of the bound boards and printed information on the front and rear paste-downs. Measures roughly 11in. square. Front paste-down is one large sheet, rear paste-down, a large sheet and three smaller strips with printed examples of Cutter's work. Clearly a 19th century printing in overall very good condition with some rubbing to the leather spine.
