Bound in vellum, with gilt lettering on spine and gilt decorations on front and rear covers, Calf skin binding, gilt designs and top edge gilt all clean and bright. Internally, no marks or annotations, some foxing on end papers and rear of engravings, of which there are twelve, all intact. Slip case in good condition only, 1-2 cm splits commencing from opening of case, some wear along joints and outer edges of box, otherwise still intact as a functioning slip case.
