Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Green boards with gilt lettering on front and spine. Corners and spine a bit scuffed. Shelfwear to front and back. Pencil signature on front paste-down endpaper and pen signature and 'Please return' on front free EP, plus a 'Black Cat' sticker. Foxing to prelims (especially contents page) and last few pages. Text is mostly clean, binding is good. Black and white photos throughout, including frontispiece of 'Oh, dear, who'd be an author!' No dust jacket.

Condition: Good. 1938. No edition remarks. 158 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth covered boards with gilt. Black and white photographs. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Binding remains firm. Minor pencil inscriptions to front free endpaper. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some moderate marking and tanning. Gilt lettering is slightly dulled.
