Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book presents the United States constitution and a cluster of supplementary documents that help contextualize its history and importance. The Constitution, arguably the world's most influential political document, and the 27 amendments that have revised it since its ratification in 1788, are published alongside the Articles of Confederation and the Northwest Ordinance. These supplementary documents provide an insight into how the laws and rights we take for granted today came into existence and how they have evolved. The book's insights will be of great interest to students, legal professionals, historians, and everyone who wants to better understand the foundation of the United States and its government. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
