The Chandler novel follows the Rim Worlds universe with its characteristic naval-adventure tone; the Reynolds story explores political and social parallels between two alien civilizations. Both covers worn with creasing, small chips, and several short tears; laminate lifting near upper edge and minor spine loss at foot. Pages tanned but intact; binding stable.
