A set of first edition, first printings of 'The London Novels' by Colin MacInnes, published MacGibbon and Kee between 1957-1960. Comprising Absolute Beginners, Mr Love and Justice and City of Spades. All in the original dust wrappers. Absolute Beginners and Mr Love and Justice are both near fine and City of Spades is very good in like wrapper with some edge wear and a small chip to the dust wrapper and some light spotting to the prelims and endpapers of the book. A rare set of first printings. Bringing together three of Colin MacInnes' finest works, this trilogy explores a very different side of London life in the 1950s than is usually portrayed.
