The basic principles of relativity (Albert Einstein) have not changed since then, but its applications have been extended, and some revision was necessary for this edition. Chapter 11 has been rewritten, and a number of other passages have been improved to agree with present knowledge.

Original Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Second Edition. Second impression from 1959 of the revised edition which was first published in 1958. Originally published in 1925 and then reprinted three times in 1925, 1927 and 1931. Slight fading to the top edges of the boards. One faint spot to the fore edges of the pages. Bookseller label to the front pastedown and the pages are slightly browned with a light mark to the final two pages of the text but are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has very light corner chipping and a small scrape to the edge of the spine. Browning to the rear panel.

3rd edn 2nd printing. 8vo. Original silver lettered maroon cloth, top edge red (Fine), dustwrapper (near Fine in protective cover, not price clipped). Pp. xi + 139 + publisher's catalogue (previous owner's neat inscription on front free endpaper).
