Program, 4to, pictorial covers, illustrated, 40 pp. Very slight aging; covers bright, clean, and firm, an almost excellent copy overall. This was a hard fought series that went to the Braves in seven games. Despite some strong individual performances from Yankee stars, Lew Burdette's three series pitching victories, and Hank Aaron's three home runs, eventually over powered the Yanks. Some very great players on both teams participated, including Eddie Mathews, Juan Pizaro, Warren Spawn, Whitey Ford, Yogi Berra, Mickey Mantle, and Enos Slaughter. baseball-almanac website.
