8°, Leinenband. Hardcover. Condition: Fine. First English Edition. See photos for condition details. Hardcover with unclipped dust jacket that still shows the original price of $2.50. DJ shows some light soiling and scuffing along with some edge bumps. There's a small tear of less than 1 inch at both lower corners of front of the jacket, and a small stain spot at the bottom of the rear, just above the word "Street". The dust jacket still very attractive, considering the age. Pale cloth boards underneath show some darkening along the edges and corners are sharp. The internal binding is good and text pages are tight. There are no bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting, no signatures, no pages torn or loose. Text pages are toned but clean, end pages show a high degree of toning. This title was originally published in German in 1902 and then later published as the English edition in the United States.
