Softcover. Condition: Very Good. Manuscript. Small quarto (6½" x 7½"). [1], [21]pp. Blank book in printed wrappers, with a front cover woodcut illustration designed and engraved by Green, titled "No. 18. Infantile Sports," and imprint: "Printed and sold by Mozley and Co. Gainsbrough [sic]. The wrapper is lightly soiled, near fine. Contains 22 manuscript pages neatly written out in ink, signed on final page: "Hepworth: March 30, 1807." A beautifully written exposition of Luke 13:24 intended for young readers. An autograph note at the bottom of the final leaf indicates that it was copied from the original manuscripts of Thomas Winstanley: "Orig. MSS. Winstanley, Rector of St. Dunstan's and Prebendary of St. Paul's, who died 1788." An attractive pedagogical manuscript for children.
