Tho the vast majority of the phone numbers are for the city of Chihuahua, the directory covers the four other towns with phone service within the state of Chihuahua. A hole has been neatly punched thru the book at the top left corner, with a string thru the hole for hanging the book beside a telephone. The string is still with the book and in very good condition, but the string has worn a inch chip off the cover at the punched hole. Browning thruout; lightly soiled in places; two holes, altogether about the size of a cigarette, have been burned completely thru the cover at the top, above all the writing. The biggest hole has left a nasty burn mark on page one, as well, tho all text is readable. The smaller burn hole is at the top edge and is noticeable down thru page 33, but only affects the outer edge of the margin, no more than inch in from the edge, so no text is affected. Other than the cigarette burn, the book is in splendid shape for a used phone book. No marks, tears, or folded corners. Slight moisture stains on 3 or 4 pages near the rear. Lightly bumped corner.
