Hacia una poética del exilio, de Angelina Muñiz, constituye un verdadero honor para nuestro Grupo de Estudios del Exilio Literario (GEXEL). En efecto, tras…los Recuerdos y reflexiones del exilio, de Adolfo Sánchez Vázquez, la colección Sinaia prolonga su singladura con este número 3, que aparece en coedición entre l'Associació Cop d'Idees-GEXEL y la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Angelina Muñiz es una escritora que pertenece a esos "Hijos del exilio" a quienes la autora dedica el capítulo cuarto del presente libro, a esos niños de "un exilio heredado" que "fueron educados como si el retorno a España hubiera de ser inminente y como si vivieran en una realidad ajena a la mexicana", que crecieron "en la esperanza de la justicia" y que quisieron contribuir con su obra literaria a "la conservación de una posición ético- estética". Una escritora de esa segunda generación exiliada en México, generación hispanomexicana -según Arturo Souto Ala- barce- o generación postexílica -según la propia Angelina Muñiz que, por su formación intelectual y por la trayectoria de su vida y de su obra, aborda con conocimiento de causa la complejidad de una poética del exilio: la lengua como patria, la militancia de la memoria, la libertad de la imaginación creadora o el retorno como tema recurrente y específico.
