Clean, no marks, stains, etc. Corners are sharp, near perfect. Nice yellow end pages. Christmas gift inscription on free end page. The lower half of the title page is separating but still attached. Craftsmanship on the book leaves a little to be desired. White dust wrapper with mystical graphic on front, from a piece titled "Life" by Nancy J. Young. . Black titling. Book summary on rear. The paper is still stiff with little surface wear. There is one small closed separation on the front, an even smaller on at the spine/top. Anaya's third novel, completing a trilogy including "Bless Me, Ultima" and "Heart of Aztlan.".
