Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. W. T. Whitehead (illustrator). The Shakespearean Guide to Stratford-on-Avon was written by H. Snowden Ward and Catharine Weed Ward and is illustrated throughout with the drawings of W. T. Whitehead. The book was published by Dawbarn & Ward, Limited, (It was published in Britain.) perhaps around 1900. I can find no date of publication but it has that look. It's an ex-library copy, is only in good condition, pages that are beginning to yellow and a spine that is getting brittle, and has no dust jacket. The book is 5" by 7 1/4" and has 137 yellowing semi-glossy pages, an Index, a Table of Contents with older black-and-white photographs and illustrations throughout the book. After the Index there's another dozen, or so, pages of advertising. Thank you!

Condition: Good. - Small quarto, light olive green cloth titled in gilt with decorations in black on the spine and titled in black on the front cover. All edges gilt. The covers are slightly rubbed. 175 & [1] pages plus a folding map with profuse textual illustrations and plates, mostly photographic, throughout. The rear hinge is cracked at the last page, though both hinges have previously been repaired. Good.

Cloth. Condition: Very Good Plus. Complete set, in 52 issues. Bound in 4 volumes. Books measure 19.5.18.cm. Illustrated throughout. Each issue was published separately, with an original paper cover. These volume were probably bound by the publishers once the 52 issues had been published, without the original paper covers. Bound in original publishers decorative cloth. Cloth lightly rubbed, lightly bumped on head and tail of spines, very minor wear. All bindings in very good clean firm condition. Internally, light tanning to pages. Pages and plates in good clean condition. A very attractive set. Size: 8vo.
