Modern inlaid leather binding in full blue-green morocco with an inlaid leather figure of the Vicar of Wakefield on the front cover & details; spine features five raised bands, gilt titles. Leather turn-ins with large, arabesque gold-tooled dentelles; green, brown & tan marbled paper endpapers, green & gold headbands; all edges gilt (the original 1914 book has been slightly trimmed). A fine, clean copy, with clean plates. Binding is in fine (as new) condition & was handcrafted in Great Britain around the 1980's, but is not signed, but last text page (345-46) bears lightly penciled, small letters: A-[-] 83 & on reverse: m w w. Scan shows the spine & inlaid front cover with figures & details, (green leather color is much deeper & richer than it appears in the scan). Weight: 3 lbs.
