This book is a little unusual in that there are 3 different titles. The one I listed on the form is the way it is printed on the title page. The half title page states it as Bicknell's Village Builder and Supplement (with the C i Bicknell's looking like an R) and finally the dust jacket states it as Victorian Village Builder an Architectural Guide bu A. J Bicknee with a new commentary by Paul Goeldner. The former owner's name and business is written in ink on the title page, otherwise the book is clean with many illustrations and drawings (plates) throughout the entire book. Unnumbered pages with pages of advertising in the back. Colored ftontis. Dark brown boards with gold gilt lettering on the front which matches the title on the half title page, in very good condition with only minor edgewear, handling. The pictorial dust jacket is in good condition, wtih only minor edgewear, small chips and tears at corners and spine edge with slight creasing and staining.
