The focus is on two great art patrons/collectors of Siena, Agostino Chigi (who entrusted Raphael with the decoration of many important Sienese buildings) and Giulio Mancini (who collected works by Caravaggio and Carracci), who maintained very close relations with Sienese artists active in both Siena and Rome.
