Tu dobu autor zpritomnuje hovorovou reci, sarkasmem a bezmocnosti, celkovou deziluzi - nekde na pomezi toho vseho se rodi pribeh hlavniho hrdiny Dusana. Dospiva v dobe, kdy kolem nej leti roky moznosti, privatizaci, ale i roky bankrotu a osobnich tragedii. Sedmnactilety Dusan zije v tomhle porevolucnim sileni svuj pomaly zivot, ve kterem se o sve misto na slunci perou jak hormony, tak nepochopeni rodicu. Nekde tam na pomezi loudani se po svete, piti piva, poslouchani hudby, loveni ryb na pytlacku a sledovani spoluzacek se rodi prvni velka laska. Jenze ta - jak to uz u takovych lasek byva - je jako kometa: zazari, oslni, zpusobi zavrat, vertigo. A pak zmizi, aby za sebou nechala otevrene dvere do sveta dospelosti.
