Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book explores the topic of equitable adjustment through either currency value revision or a revision of pecuniary contracts. The author argues against the idea that implementing such a measure would be just or practical, given the far-reaching effects it would have on the value of debts and assets. The author makes an economic case for adhering to a fixed standard of value as being the most responsible approach to ensuring the stability of the economy. This book should be of interest to scholars of economics, as it provides a solid counter-argument against the idea that currency devaluation or the revision of contracts is a solution to economic problems.
