The author proposes that our planet was once enveloped in a vast watery canopy. He connects this theory to a canopy of primitive earth vapors postulated by scientists, which shrouded the Earth in perpetual summer, prevented rain, and caused no seasons. He suggests that this canopy fell as the Deluge, radically changing physical conditions and increasing ocean depth. The author supports his theory by examining ancient mythology, the fossil records of various species, and biblical accounts, concluding that the Deluge was a real event likely caused by the collapse of this celestial water source. Overall, this book prompts readers to reconsider the origins of Earth's water sources and presents a unique perspective that aligns with ancient accounts of a global flood.
