Two museum brochures laid-in at front endpapers; laid-in at pages iv-v is Rocky Mountain News (newspaper) clipped July 22, 1980 obituary for Maria Martinez with brown stain at center which has likewise modestly affected said pages; author's blue ink signature "Richard L. Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First Edition. 138 pages. Hardcover, bound in black cloth covered boards and wrapped in an illustrated paper dustjacket. Moderate wear to the edges and extremities of the dustjacket, with faint shelfwear to the lower edges of the boards. Signed by the artist with her Indian name, Maria Poveka, on the title page (Maria Martinez is apparently her Spanish name), and by her blind sister Clara Montoya on page 29. A 1983 letter from the Director of the School of American Research laid in at front, explaining both signatures. Aside from these signatures, there are no further interior markings. Texts in English. Illustrated. Signed by the Artist.
