Softcover. Condition: Very Good. Immediate dispatch from Somerset. Nice book in great condition. Pages in excellent condition. No notes or highlighting. See images. Fantastic book. About the book >.>.> The 'Hospitality of Abraham' first came to my attention when I was browsing around the book- shop at Nashdom Abbey, some fifteen years ago. I have to confess that I bought the Icon knowing nothing about it and for the wrong reasons! My wife and I were just setting up home and icons, we knew, were becoming the fashionable things to have! It hung, largely ignored, on the walls of our home for the next ten years, in the company of other pictures. The big change came after I had read a little about the Icon and one of the ever- kind Daughters of St Paul, at their Kensington (London) Book Centre, gave me a poster repre- senting the Icon. Not long afterwards I used the poster as a visual aid while speaking about the Holy Trinity and I soon recognised its value as a stimulant to meditation. From then on the Icon began to 'speak' to me (see the body of the text for an explanation of icon language). This book has not been written in the quiet of a monastery or convent, but with great difficulty against the backgroun.
