Light offset to endpapers else clean and bright internally. Unclipped Dustjacket is a little age discoloured to the rear panel. Lightly rubbed with some slight creases to the covers. Minor edge wear and slightly chipped corners.(BH) 7/24.

Very small tears/chips to bottom corner of front d/j cover near flap. Slight toning to pages, a few small stains to page edges. Size: 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Book.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. The UK First Edition of Volume 2 in the "Dragonriders of Pern" series and the first hardcover edition of this title. Original green cloth with gilt titles to the backstrip. Not fine but a VG copy which has a slight lean. Pushed a little at the spine tips but with sharp corners. Minor tanning - or rather, dis-coloration - to the edges of the block with a touch of grubbiness here and there as well but internally free from owner names, library markings etc. The covers are clean and bright. The dustjacket has the original price of £2.50 at the front flap. There is a small tri-angular chip at the foot of the spine and a small, old sellotape repair to the inside of the jacket above. Minor chip to the laminate of the jacket at the foot also. For best appreciation of condition please examine the accompanying images. Much, much better than it probably sounds, this is a nice example of a rare book - no spotting/foxing, no previous owner names or library markings etc.
