Illustrated including colour frontispiece. The diaries cover the period from 1794 to 1834. Grierson was a merchant in Dumfries and according to the editor "was an important figure in establishing Burns as Scotland's greatest poet." He was also a correspondent of Walter Scott. Inscribed by Author(s).
