Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. First American hardcover edition, with dust jacket, published by St. Martins, 1984. The 8th in the Inspector Alvarez series. In this one, the inspector looks into the death of a New Zealand tourist, was it just an auto accident or murder? 188 pages, 5-3/4" X 8-1/2". The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. Jacket has some bumps marks, edge wear, short closed tear of about 1/4 inch on the bottom edge. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Handwritten on the top corner of the first flyleaf is '1984 8 - 8 VIII'. No further writing besides that though. Not a remainder, not a library discard. We have more books in the series listed too. Attached are some photos of the copy we have in our inventory.
