Each word is simply and clearly explained, and every word is accompanied by a colour picture drawn by Alex Brychta. This dictionary is aimed at 4-6 year olds. Roderick Hunt, author of the successful Oxford Reading Tree, is the general consultant for this dictionary. Clare Kirtley is an experienced writer for infants. She is the author of My Very First Oxford Dictionary, co-author of Rhyme and Analogy and is a consultant on OUP's new reading scheme, the Literacy Web.
