A folio measuring 13.5" x 9.5", bound in brilliant red cloth with red morocco spine with gilt ruling at the joins , gilt title to the spine, bound by Zaehnsdorf with their "Z" at the bottom inside back. Red and black title page and a list of the members of the club. Corners of the boards are crisply done in white. Prof. Wormald (1904-1972) had agreed to edit his paper on the Bradfer-Lawrence's manuscript of an early Breton Gospel but died before he was able to finish the work. Alexander completed the paper with only minor changes, while adding footnotes. He also added an excursus on a related group of Breton Gospels. A beautifully crafted book, on lovely creamy thick paper, with wonderful plates. There are two institutional stamps in the book, one on the first free end paper, the othe on the title verso, otherwise clean and very good. ; Folio 13" - 23" tall; 35 pages.…
