    Softcover. Condition: Very Good-. Folded for mailing. Very small chip and small paper remnant to lower edge of letter. Rear blank has paper remnants along fold edge from prior mounting. ; Handwritten signed letter, one page, approx. 7 1/4" wide by 9". Written by Wooler next to his signature 2 Gough Sq. Fleet St. March 24, 1824. Folded for integral mailing, addressed on blank panel to Thomas Clark, Esq. Birmingham. Hole and stain where wax seal was removed with loss of a few letters of written text. Written contents begin: "I forward you a prospectus of a new undertaking; and request your kind assistance in behalf of the paper when it shall appear." The integral leaf contains a one page printed prospectus "New Daily Evening Newspaper, to be entitled 'The Nation'".
