Here, re-created by two of the men who worked with him and knew him best, is a wonderfully rounded, human picture of the man himself. No one interested in books, in salesmanship, in people, will fail to be thoroughly absorbed by this warm and appreciative biography of one of the most notable figures of our time. Bookseller's note - I acquired my copy of this book early in my book collecting days and it was like reading a thriller. I think this planted the germ that eventually grew roots into my bookselling career of today. I have read hundreds of books about books and book people and if I had to declare my hero, it would have to be Rosenbach. This book, 616 pages, is in near-fine condition in a near-fine dust jacket, that is enclosed in a protective mylar wrap.
