Jones (left) of Vero Beach, Fla., is congratulated at a Korean air base by Col. Francis S. Gabreski of Oil City, PA, after they returned from a…fourth fighter wing sabrejet mission to northwest Korea Oct. 1 on which Jones shot down the 100th enemy MIG-15 jet fighter to be downed by Fifth Air Force Pilots and Far East Air Forces Bomber Command Gunners. Generally known as one of the most extensively-travelled Soviet poets, he had been on a five-week American poetry tour, when the photograph was taken.

Prepared for a special report by John Collier, the caption reads "A revival of dhow trade - Sailing vessels, including dhows from Persian Gulf and east African…coastal dhows, are shown in port of Mombasa, Kenya. An ocean going dhow has about 170 tons displacement and a crow of about 30, including nahoda (master). They have been bringing Persian Gulf traders to east coast of Africa for 3,000 years. Trade was falling off rapidly three years ago but now has been revived since Somalia and Tanganyika have attained independence".
