Born in 1890 in Waco, Texas, Winnie Fields married John Henry Moore in 1910. Besides contributing to LOS ANGELES ILLUSTRATED NEWS, Winnie Fields Moore also had a daily broadcast on Los Angeles KFI. Known as the "Nomad Novelist" for stories which incorporated descriptions gleaned from her own travels, Moore also wrote WINGS OF LOVE (1929). WINGS OF DESTINY contains five of her stories.
