First Edition
Presumed first edition (no direct statement but with matching dates upon title and copyright pages). 253 pages. Hardcover: H 21cm x L 14cm. Dust jacket with semi-surrealist pictorial front panel illustrated with bloodshot eye looking through a keyhole; some rubbing and light soiled with a few tears and some edge nicks; front flap retains publisher's original printed price ($3) at top corner. Black boards; light bumping and scuffing at spine ends and at board corners. Light brown staining at lower fore-edge; a few spots of minor soiling to interior pages which, overall, remain quite clean. Binding is firm. A very good copy in a very good dust jacket.
