Binding has remained firm. Boards have been moderately rub worn. Noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed Spine ends are crushed, with noticeable splits and chips. Light wear to unclipped dust jacket with tears, nicks and creases to spine, edge and corners.

Early edition of this work, dated from the three copies listed on Copac. Adventure novel co-authored by William A. Bryce and Irish author Henry de Vere Stacpoole, known for his romance novel The Blue Lagoon.With illustrations by A. S. Boyd. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities, back strip lightly faded. Etchingham College prize presentation bookplate to front free endpaper awarded to OC Allaston in 1928. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean. Very Good Indeed. book.
